In 2027, we are driving a tiny tuk-tuk across India and the United Kingdom to raise £500,000 for children’s palliative care.

In February 2027, two women will climb into a tuk-tuk and attempt to drive it the length of India.
Then they’ll bring it home and drive the length of Britain.
Kerala to Kashmir.

Every child deserves the chance to laugh, play, learn and simply be a child.
Regardless of how long their life may be.
But thousands of families across India and the UK are caring for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
Children’s palliative care cannot always change the diagnosis.
But it can change the experience.
It can provide comfort instead of pain.
Support instead of isolation.
Precious time together instead of time spent coping alone.
That is why we are driving.
One small tuk-tuk.
One very long road.
Her name is Asha. It means hope in Hindi. She is small, green and almost certainly not the most sensible vehicle for a journey of this size.
Which is rather the point. Because children’s palliative care is too important to remain unnoticed. So Asha will carry its stories across countries, communities and thousands of miles of open road.
The India Drive
Kerala to Kashmir
Six weeks and approximately 4,000 kilometres across India.
Along the way, Cills and Emma will visit charitable organisations, meet families, speak to doctors and care teams, and invite some remarkable people into the back of the tuk-tuk for a chat.
The UK Drive
Felixstowe to Fife
After India, Asha will return to Britain to visit 54 children’s hospices around the UK.
Hospice teams, families, schools, businesses and local communities will be invited to join the journey and help carry its message further.
Turning miles into attention.
The Asha Drive is more than a fundraising challenge. It is a travelling platform for stories that deserve to be heard.
Hospice visits will be filmed - shining a light on the inspirational works the charities are doing, and the incredible people making it happen.
People will be interviewed along the road - it will be a cultural journey sharing insights into life in India. Follow us on socials to join the journey
Communities will be invited to take part - find out how you too can get involved.
Every stop will become an opportunity to talk about children’s palliative care. There will be beautiful moments. There will probably be breakdowns. There will almost certainly be wrong turns and laughter along the way.
£500,000 for children and families.
The Asha Drive is being personally funded by the team.
That means 100% of public donations will go towards the charitable work we are supporting in India and the United Kingdom.
The money raised will help provide specialist care, pain relief, respite, practical assistance, education, expert advice and emotional support.
It will help families make the most of the time they have together. Whether you donate £10, £100 or £10,000, the number changes. The purpose does not.
One tiny tuk-tuk won’t change the world.
But together, we can change the world for thousands of children and their families.
