Our charities are all aligned with The Asha Drive story: in the UK, the focus is children's palliative care; in India, it broadens to palliative care, childhood cancer, homelessness, poverty, education and opportunity - all united by the principle that every child deserves care, dignity and hope.
Together for short lives
The UK’s leading charity for children living with serious illness, supporting families and the children’s palliative care services they rely upon. It works nationally to improve access to high-quality palliative and end-of-life care, while providing practical, emotional and financial support to families.

Pallium India
Based in Kerala, Pallium India is working to make quality palliative care accessible across India and to relieve serious health-related suffering. Its dedicated paediatric programme provides holistic care and support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families — making it a particularly important partner for The Asha Drive.

Shanti Bhavan Children’s Project
Shanti Bhavan gives children from some of India’s most marginalised communities an extraordinary long-term opportunity: free education, housing, healthcare, food and support from early childhood through university and into employment. Its model is designed to break generational poverty, enabling one child’s education to transform not only their own future but that of their family and wider community.

Khushii
Founded in 2003 by cricket legend Kapil Dev, KHUSHII uses education as a route out of poverty for underprivileged children across India. Alongside academic support, it works on health, mental wellbeing, life skills and stronger communities so children have a genuine opportunity to fulfil their potential.

Salaam Baalak Trust
Salaam Baalak Trust works with some of India’s most vulnerable street and working children, providing safety, shelter, healthcare, nutrition, education and opportunities for a different future. Its aim is not simply to take children off the streets, but to give them the security, confidence and skills to build independent lives.

CanKids KidsCan
CanKids KidsCan supports children with cancer and their families throughout their treatment journey, working with hospitals and healthcare professionals across India. Its You Are Not Alone programme helps families access treatment alongside the social, emotional and practical support a child needs to continue having a childhood.
